Garston
The most inland settlement in New Zealand, Garston has a population of 100 and is situated south of Lake Wakatipu. In an area famous for its trout fishing, recreational pursuits also include four-wheel-driving, farm tours, golf and tramping.
Home to the historic Naylor House, Garston has coffee, accommodation, a post office, primary school, an antique and honey shop, as well as public toilets.
