On your journey along the Around the Mountains Cycle Trail you’ll have the opportunity to discover what makes them so special. To enhance your journey, you have the option of upgrading your cruise on the TSS Earnslaw to include a range of experiences available at Walter Peak High Country Station:
Come in for the friendly atmosphere, a beer, dinner or both. We offer comfortable, clean accommodation so you are welcome to stay a while. We also offer transport and bike transfer packages around the Cycle Trail, with our van and custom made bike trailer. Pre-bookings essential.
Tracknet are the Southern New Zealand track and transport specialists, offering a daily passenger coach service to and from many of our most beautiful areas. With daily connections between Queenstown, Milford Sound, Lake Te Anau and Invercargill, we also link passengers with the Fiordland National Park tracks: Milford Track, Routeburn Track and Kepler Track. Full timetables run during the 'Great Walks' season (Oct to Apr each year) with reduced schedules operating during winter. Three departures daily between Milford Sound, Te Anau and Queenstown to all the Southern New Zealand walking tracks. Our extensive timetable includes once daily services connecting Te Anau and Queenstown with Invercargill, Bluff and Stewart Island.
